Chris Glover is a news anchor with over the past 10 years experience based in Toronto, Winnipeg, and Halifax with a breadth of regional and national experience.

Glover further writes that “I was the award-winning theatre kid, who was also the MVP of my high school’s rugby team. It’s part of my dichotomous life that keeps people interested.”
Glover is the son of a political staffer (mom) and a political lawn-sign campaign chair (dad). He states to have had an interest in politics for his whole life.
Glover has been is behind the investigation on the treatment of foreign workers languishing in the basement of a Toronto temple, exposing the deadly lack of oxygen on air ambulance flights in Steinbach, Manitoba.
He has been at CBC News Network and held a number of leadership roles. As the national afternoon coverage producer, he led story meetings, assigned writers and vetted copy. Glover also worked as a control room producer, line up producer, and was pulled to produce several live specials, including two federal budgets and the Royal Wedding.

In a widely seen clip on Tuesday, February 26th, 2019, CBC’s Chris Glover while talking back to the studio, one man leans into the frame behind him and mugs for the camera before leaving, while a second man, dressed in a green Saskatchewan Roughriders hoodie, moves in on the reporter.
The man, identified as Boyd Banks – who has appeared on CBC shows – proceeds to demonstratively lick Glover’s ear and kiss his neck while the journalist continues speaking to while live on camera, before throwing it back to the studio with the line:
“Things are getting a little awkward out here, so I’m going to pass it back to you,” Glover said from the Comedy Bar in Toronto.
“Yeah, that’s a little strange. It’s really unnecessary,” host Dwight Drummond told Glover. “Just move away from that gentleman.”
