Marquez was arrested on February 6th, 2019, in Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan at his apartment. Marquez was hands cuffed and placed into a cruiser and taken to the police station where media reporters were present.

David Marquez Charges
David Marquez is been accused been accused of molesting one of his male students. The alleged incident occurred in August 2017. The 16-year-old student had been visiting New York City from Oregon at the time of the alleged assault. Marquez is accused of touching the boy’s genitals over his clothes.
The student reported the alleged incident to police in March of 2018. WABC-TV reported that investigators are looking into whether there could be additional victims.
