Charles Wade Wilson was born on 1st February 1959. He was an American football coach and the former quarterback. Wilson was born in Greenville, Texas but grew in Commerce, Texas, where he spent most of his childhood. Wilson became a standout quarterback and punter at Commerce High School. He led the Tigers to a 10-win season and a district championship during his Senior season.

Wade Wilson Career
Wade Wilson played for the Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, New Orleans Saints, Dallas Cowboys, and the Oakland Raiders in the National Football League (NFL) from 1981 to 1998. He was quarterbacks coach for the Dallas Cowboys from 2000 to 2002 and from 2007 to 2017, and from 2004 to 2006 the Chicago Bears. Wade Wilson played college football for Texas A&M University-Commerce (formerly East Texas State University), where he was an NAIA All-American Quarterback and led the Lions to the NAIA national semifinals during the 1980 season.
Wade Wilson Coaching Career
Wilson was the Dallas Cowboys quarterback coach from 2000-02. He then became the Chicago Bears quarterback coach from 2004 until 2006, while reaching Super Bowl XLI. On 22nd February 2007, he re-signed with the Cowboys. On September 1st, 2007, Wilson was suspended five games and fined $100,000 for purchasing and using performance-enhancing drugs. In his defense, Wilson has said that the drug (HGH) was used to help his problem with diabetes. However, Commissioner Goodell seemed to sidestep this defense saying, “First of all, I’m not going to get into the personal situations of why Wade was taking it, but that’s not an accurate point.” The Cowboys decided to part ways with Wilson following the 2017 season.

Wilson passed away at his home in Coppell, Texas on 1st February 2019 at the age of 60 on his birthday. The cause of death was not disclosed,

Wade Wilson was such a great guy, so sorry to learn of his passing. He won a super bowl ring as a @dallascowboys player. As a coach, he did not get enough credit from media/fans for his work w/Dak & Tony. For all he accomplished in the NFL, I’ll remember him for his kindness.
